TREWHELA'S SCHOOL FOUNDATION
Trewhela's School was founded in 1937 by Miss Alice and Miss Virginia Trewhela Lamb, outstanding British educators who laid the foundations of our educational project.
DECORATION ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE (O.B.E.)
Miss Virginia Trewhela Lamb received in 1969 the O.B.E. award from Her Majesty Elizabeth II of England, in recognition of her contribution to the spread of the English language.
MRS. RUBY MICHELL TREWHELA TAKES OVER AS DIRECTOR
She served in this position for 18 years (1975-1993). During her tenure, she implemented Secondary Education and promoted innovative methodologies, prioritizing the integral formation of students and encouraging extracurricular, sports and artistic activities.


MRS. DOREEN BOLTON MICHELL TAKES OVER AS DIRECTOR
Between 1997 and 2017, Mrs. Doreen Bolton Michell, Mrs. Ruby's daughter, led the academic direction of the school. A psychologist with a Master's degree in Education from Pontificia Universidad Católica, she brought her experience from more than 20 years in the same role at another institution.
INAGURATION OF CHICUREO CAMPUS
In 2012, the school opened a new campus in Chicureo, expanding its educational offerings to new families in the area.
A NEW ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
In order to strengthen the pedagogical management at both sites, a new organizational structure was implemented, incorporating Mr. Roberto Bravo González, Professor of English and Master in School Management and Leadership, with extensive experience in the management of educational institutions, as Rector.
